Nicholas HELLIS Arboricultural Consultants (NHAC) provide independent arboricultural advice, information and management services.
We are based in West Dorset and primarily cover the 7 counties of the South West.
Our combined knowledge and experience has been gained over 35 years of working for and with both the private and public sectors.
Our aim is to provide proactive solutions for all aspects of the plantings and maintenance of amenity trees.

Approved Suppliers: Provide a defendable system for the selection and supervision of Arboricultural suppliers.
Health and Safety: Advise on current Health and Safety legislation with implications for Arboriculture.
Trees and the Law: Advise on other legislation, in addition to H&S, with implications for Arboriculture.
Best Practice: Advics on current industry best practice based on British Standard recommendations, HSE guidelines and current legislation.
Written Contracts: Provide standard conditions of contract and specifications for tree works.
Contract Management: Supervise those standard conditions and specified tree works, in order to ensure the timely and appropriate completion of the contract.
Reports: Provide written condition reports for insurance, mortgage and other purposes.
Tree Surveys: Provide a defendable system of tree inspection for land owners, agents and tenants.
